Learning the Musical Alphabet

Posted by Rocio Banyuls on Sunday, March 24, 2019

This week at harp club, children have been playing games to learn more about the musical alphabet. They built a giant Alphabet snake and then played games reciting the alphabet forward and backwards! (really tricky when you've never done it!) - Then they are relating the alphabet with colours and writing notes on the stave in the correct places! In that way they can very early write and read their own music.

Such fun while learning!

- Activities used are part of Music Mind Games - One of the main methods to teach music notation used by Ritmico tutors.
